Anthony Bailey
From blizzards, tornadoes, and ice storms of the Midwest to fires and the drought of California, Anthony has seen firsthand the impact Mother Nature can have on a community. After stops inMichigan, Ohio, and southern California, Anthony was excited his journey came full circle and brought him back to his hometown of Fresno. He has spent the past six years working as the Morning Weather Anchor on CBS47 Eyewitness News.
Anthony is responsible for several series on CBS47, including “Hidden History,” which highlights the achievements of African Americans in the Valley. Bailey’s Bites on the road features great food across the Valley and the 47Match-Up, a pep rally series that highlights the positive things high school students are doing on campus.
Anthony is a member of the NationalWeather Association, American Meteorological Society, National Association ofBlack Journalists, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Away from the world of news, Anthony isa husband and father of two little girls. He remains active in his church and enjoys woodworking.
He is also dedicated to giving back to the community Co-founding Bailey Inc., a non-profit that runs several programs, including The Moses Project, which provides equipment and tech training for faith-based organizations in the Central Valley.
